MicroRate’s founder and chairman, Damian von Stauffenberg, speaks out on development and wealth creation (2011)

Damian von Stauffenberg was asked to give a keynote address at Triple Jump’s fifth anniversary celebration.  Triple Jump is a microfinance investment manager based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. (June 2011)

Damian von Stauffenberg, testified before the Subcommittee on International Monetary Policy and Trade, Committee on Financial Services, in the U.S. House of Representatives, on  January 27, 2010. A video of the full hearing can be found here.

Damian von Stauffenberg spoke at the First Microfinance Lunch Break in Brussels on February 10, 2009 , and responded to questions concerning the state of microfinance today. In this clip,  he discusses the notion of having microfinance institutions operate in developed countries, how the industry is handing its financing, and the impact that subsidies are having upon ratings.
